Privacy Policy pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

This policy describes the management methods of the Eweka website with regard to the processing of personal data of users who consult it or interact with the services offered, pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and current Italian legislation.

The Data Controller is EWEKA BY EWEKA JENNIFER EGBOKAUWA, with registered office in Via Lucchese, 51011 Buggiano (PT), VAT number  02105470476, contactable at the email address office@eweka.it. For any privacy related requests you can write to office@eweka.it. The Data Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as the legal requirements for this are not met.

The personal data processed through the site includes data provided voluntarily by the user, such as name, surname, email address, telephone number, and the content of messages sent via the contact forms on the site. Browsing data may also be collected, such as IP address, browser type, device used, pages visited, and time spent on the site. These data are automatically acquired by computer systems and used exclusively for statistical and security purposes.

Personal data is processed to respond to user requests for information, manage pre-contractual and commercial communications, fulfill legal obligations, and improve the functioning and performance of the website. Processing is based on the user's consent, the implementation of pre-contractual or contractual measures, the fulfillment of legal obligations, and the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.

Data processing is carried out using computerized and electronic tools, using organizational and logical methods strictly related to the indicated purposes and in compliance with the security measures required by applicable legislation, to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of the data. No automated decision-making processes or profiling activities are used.

Personal data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. In particular, data relating to contact requests will be retained for a maximum period of 24 months, while any contractual data will be retained for the period required by applicable civil and tax legislation.

Personal data may be disclosed to external parties exclusively for technical, organizational, or operational purposes related to the purposes indicated, such as hosting providers, email service providers, technical, administrative, or tax consultants. These parties act as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR and are required to comply with data protection legislation.

Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union. If necessary, the transfer will be carried out in compliance with Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, through the adoption of appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

As a data subject, you may exercise the rights set forth in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR at any time, including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent. Requests can be sent to the email address office@eweka.it. The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
